Passport Requirements for 2008

The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative is a program that requires valid passports or other official documents to prove identity and citizenship to enter or re-enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Requirements and regulations regarding these and other travel destinations are available at the Department of State website.

If you are planning travel outside the U.S., please be sure to give yourself plenty of time to apply for a passport. Once you've got a passport in hand, the whole world is yours to explore!

Garber Travel strongly recommends that all guests apply for a valid passport at least 6 months prior to taking their cruise to be able to ensure uninterrupted travel plans and meet U.S. Government entry compliance requirements without concern or delay. It is also highly recommeded that your passport be valid for at least 6 months following your travel dates.
